RAJANPUR (Dunya News) - Doctors negligence claimed life of a woman and her newborn baby at the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Rajanpur on Monday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, a woman from Rojhani village was brought to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Rajanpur for delivery where she and her newborn baby died due to doctors negligence.
The heirs of the deceased staged a protest at the hospital against doctors negligence and closed gates of the hospital. Heavy contingent of police reached the hospital to control the situation. District Health Officer Rajanpur and Assistant Commissioner Imran Munir also reached the spot and held successful discussions with demonstrators after which they ended their protest.
Meanwhile, the authorities have suspended lady doctor Tayyaba Shaheen and MS Rao Shahzad after founding them guilty and notification of their suspension was also issued.
